Quebec City, Quebec, Nov. 19, 2018 — Derby Building Products Inc., manufacturer of the Tando® and Novik® brands of exterior cladding, announces Amber Skymer as Senior Product Manager. In this role, she will develop and lead programs targeting the builder, contractor, architect and designer.
Skymer will also serve as Derby’s lead on market knowledge for competitive products and categories. “Amber’s successful track record of driving new innovation and launching profitable products will be invaluable to Derby as we further expand our brands and build out distribution,” said Ralph Bruno, Derby’s CEO Bruno.
For the past five years, Skymer has worked for the Wolf Organization in York, Pennsylvania. Wolf is a leading distributor of branded building products in the eastern United States. Starting as a product specialist, she was promoted several times at Wolf and was a category manager prior to joining Derby.
“I look forward to helping Derby shape the relationships between design and build professionals and our Tando and Novik brands. We have a fantastic value proposition that addresses market needs like labor shortages, job site delays and moisture management,” said Skymer.
Skymer earned her bachelor’s degree in interior architecture and design from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
